WELCOME.

I’m an award-winning journalist, author, and editor who writes and edits non-fiction for books, magazines, and newspapers.

In 2018, I won the Dave Greber Freelance Writers Magazine Award for this story, which was published in the May 2018 edition of the UC Observer, now Broadview.

In 2012, I won the George Cadogan Memorial Outstanding Columnist Award from the Canadian Community Newspapers Association.

I have a Master of Journalism degree from the University of King’s College in Halifax, NS.
